All children 12 and under, as well as Skeeters season ticket holders, gain FREE entry to the event. General admission cost is $5, with a portion of every ticket purchased benefitting Child Advocates of Fort Bend in support of abused and neglected children in the Fort Bend area.

Along with one of the best craft and trade shows in Greater Houston, Winter Fest will hold holiday activities and excitement for the whole family including a cookie decorating station, a Christmas tree farm sponsored by Gray Lodge No. 329 and live reindeer. Children can also enjoy real snow on the field, an inflatable obstacle course and pay a visit to Santa Claus himself, provided by MemberSource Credit Union.

Each patron will also have the opportunity to enter to win one of six new bicycles, with proceeds benefitting the Skeeters’ own Deacon’s Dugout Foundation. The Deacon’s Dugout Foundation promotes youth education and healthy activities. Funds raised for the Foundation help youth related projects or experiences for the culturally, racially and economically diverse populations of those underserved in Fort Bend and surrounding counties.

About the Sugar Land Skeeters

The Sugar Land Skeeters, who captured an all-time best Atlantic League record of 95-45 in 2013, are led by former Major Leaguer Gary Gaetti and will host the 2014 Atlantic League All-Star Game on July 16, 2014 at Constellation Field, a state-of-the-art stadium located just 20 minutes from downtown Houston.

The Skeeters play 140 regular season games (70 home, 70 away) in the Atlantic League, considered the highest level of Minor League Baseball. Atlantic League players are “Major League ready” and in the last 16 years, over 600 players have graduated from Atlantic League clubs to Major League organizations, making the League a preferred route for experienced players to be scouted by Major League Baseball.
