It's the time of the summer season, just before the hustle and bustle of 7v7 and two-a-days start, where athletes all over the country are making announcements regarding what the next chapter of their lives will look like. Hicks' commitment comes just weeks after releasing his "final five" of Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, and TCU. The soon-to-be senior boasts offers from 24 college programs and has only made one official visit. His official visit to Oklahoma was made just days before deciding to commit to the Sooners program.
Ranked as the No. 24 running back in his recruiting class by 247Sports, Hicks rushed for 1,448 yards on 216 carries during his junior season. Hicks racked up 18 touchdowns last season and looks to have an explosive senior year.
