THE TIER LIST: VYPE DFW Baseball Rankings entering district-play; Boswell, Aledo making waves
In what feels like the blink of an eye, Texas high school baseball has moved past the tournament stage and into the heart of district play.
Since the preseason rankings, the Dallas-Fort Worth landscape has shifted, proving just how unpredictable this season can be.
Leading the charge is Boswell, which has surged from No. 7 to the top spot after an outstanding 15-1 start, ranking third overall in Texas, according to MaxPreps.
Still riding high is Grapevine (13-2), the reigning UIL-5A State Champion, which looks primed for another deep playoff run.
Keller (14-3) and Southlake Carroll (12-3-1) continues to be powerhouses, while Flower Mound (12-5), a 2024 State Semifinalist, remains a major threat.
Aledo has been one of the biggest surprises, racing to a 12-4 record with a 2-0 start in district play.
