EXPERIENCE PAYS: No. 8 Katy Jordan retains all its stars to propel them to postseason
8 -- KATY JORDAN WARRIORS
With 11 seniors returning off of a Regional Semifinal team a year ago, the Jordan Warriors are in position to make history.
“We did the math,” coach Charlie Jones said. “We return 97-percent of our scoring and 95-percent of our minutes played from last year. We are going to take advantage of our experience. I’ve preached to them to take ownership of this team... I’m just trying to stay out of the way.”
Four-year starter Jaden Holt and three-year starter Elijah Black will lead the way for the Warriors along with Rayan Fakika. Jude and Jacob Oluokun will man the paint along with Landon Kjar.
Thesurprise on this year’s team? Look out from freshman Marwane Fadika, who will help out in the back-court.
After losing 39-38 in the playoffs to Bellaire, Jordan is hungry to go further. With the depth and experience, they should.
