Coach Craig Brownson is one of the best in the business.
The Travis Tigers won state with the Harrison twins back in 2013 and reached the Regional Quarters last season. That's the furthest the Tigers have been in four years.
Gone is superstar Justin Hill but Brownson has some talent back to compete for the District 20-6A crown.
Mehki McIntyre is a star in the making and could vie for the District MVP, while Cameron Oliver and Cameron Crockett return to the huddle. Oliver is a first-teamer, but they will have to wait for him to get off the football field.
The future is the rangy forward Crockett, who holds offers from TCU, Western Kentucky and TSU. His length is a problem for opponents but he needs to be more assertive as a junior.
