Welcome to the 2020 volleyball season. What a weird offseason it was for everyone. No club tournaments to travel to, limited training available but what that means is everyone should be fresh for the 2020 campaign.
VYPE previewed 30 public school teams in this year's VYPE Houston Volleyball Preview. Here is one of the Contenders - the Klein Bearkats.

Klein Bearkats
The Klein Bearkats were back in the state volleyball conversation a year ago after reaching the Regional Finals. They lost to the eventual state champ Plano West. Coach Kate Zora-Key's squad may have been a year away as Klein returns some seriously-decorated firepower. The Bearkats have a pair of quarterbacks. On offense, Annie Antar (North Florida-commit) runs the show as a crafty hitter and setter. Antar was the District Hitter MVP and first-team, all-state. The Defensive MVP? Clemson-commit Devan Taylor returns as an all-state libero and pitches in on the outside. In the middle and on the outside is 6-foot-4 Kierstyn McFall, who is a beast at the net. Libero Gaby Mansfield returns as a first-team, all-district selection as a Concordia Lutheran move-in.
Camy Kling was a second-team hitter, who will have an expanded role this season. Klein should cruise through district play but have their eye on a bigger prize come November.
