When witnessing the Barbers Hill roster, it’s easy to recognize what has led them to flourish at such a high degree.
Exceptional size and physicality are going to be the critical assets towards a Chris Pennington-led group that went 31-7 a year ago.
They’ll be eager to remedy the second round-exit they endured at the hands of eventual Region III Finalist Fort Bend Marshall in the 2024 postseason.
Fortunately for the Eagles, the vast majority of their starting rotation – namely District MVP Dre Charlot (Sr. PG), Aidan Williams (Sr. F), Wesley Wake (Jr. G), Jaden Williams (Sr. G) and Dale Carter (Sr. G) – returns to the fold to do so.
Among all the notable squads in Class 5A, it doesn’t get much better than The Hill.
