Brette Reagan enters her second season leading Klein Collins. The Tigers went 18-15 a year ago and reached the Regional Quarterfinals. Reagan returns five starters off that team as the program seeks a 19th straight year of reaching the postseason in 2025.
Prairie View A&M signee Za’Riya Bell-Morris leads the way for the Tigers after hitting .390 a year ago with 11 stolen bases. She was first-team, all-district along with fellow returner Myah Barraza-Ruiz who registered a .429 on-base percentage.
Other key returners include second-team, all-district picks Devyn Davenport (.959 fielding percentage) and A’Yanni Mendiola (.325 average). Also watch out for Gabby Perez, Delmi Maldonado, Lexi Scott and Genesis Garcia as players to contribute to the Tigers’ success.
Reagan wants her team to be scrappy and gritty, mentally and physically tough, and find some camaraderie this season. If those all fall into place, the second-year coach believes they “R.I.S.E - Respect, Integrity, Selflessness, Excellence” in 2025.
