Coming off a year where Cinco Ranch went 17-15 overall and reached the Regional Quarterfinals, 11th-year coach Suzanne Reeve returns five starters to the dugout as she looks towards 2025.

The Cougars are seeking a 20th-consecutive trip to the postseason this spring and University of St. Thomas (Houston)-commit Sophie Hassell will be one of the leaders in the clubhouse to get them there.

THE RANKINGS: No. 22 - Ridge Point Panthers

Ridge Point is coming off a season where the program reached the playoffs after going 16-14 overall. Six starters return for sixth-year coach Lindsey Gage (103-52 at Ridge Point; 189 overall coaching wins) this season.

Kansas-commit Braelyn Daniels leads the way for the Panthers at catcher and utility after being named TGCA All-State and TSWA All-State after hitting .515 with 12 homers, 45 RBIs, 15 stolen bases and recording a 1.118 slugging percentage. University of HoustonVictoria-commit Alysa Perez, Ridge Point’s first baseman, is coming off a first-team, all-district campaign where she hit .429 with 29 RBIs, while shortstop Abi Parker hit .418 with 24 RBIs.

THE RANKINGS: No. 23 - Katy Tompkins Falcons

Second-year coach Shay Orsak returns eight starters to the lineup for 2025 as Katy Tompkins seeks a 10th-straight playoff appearance. The Falcons went 16-14 a year ago and reached the Area Round of the postseason.

Denison University-commit Leah Gershman is coming off a first-team, all-district campaign in the circle, while Montana State University Billings-commit Cami Hearn earned a second-team, all-district nod as an infielder. Lex Cebrero was named the District 19-6A Newcomer of the Year in 2024 and looks to build off that season.
