Ridge Point will come out fighting in 2020 after losing to Travis in a district game for the first time last year.
Ridge Point has a new coach, and finished second in 2019. Travis swept through the regular season undefeated to climb above Ridge Point for the first time since the Panthers moved up to 6A. Now, the George Ranch Longhorns join the district whose playoff entries face Katy ISD foes in the first round of the playoffs. The UIL might have created a three-headed monster for the other contenders in District 20-6A.
