Second Baptist School baseball has become a private school power in the city of Houston and across the state of Texas. Recently SBS captured their 17th District Championship. The Eagles have posted an impressive 21-4 overall and an undefeated 12-0 in district play and look to make another deep run in the playoffs.
The last time the Eagles won a state championship was in 2016, led by former Astros greats Lance Berkman and Andy Pettitte. Berkman is gone but Pettitte is still an assistant coach for Coach Raynor Noble. For the better part of two decades, SBS has been competing for state championships and you can expect this squad to do the same.
