HOUSTON - PrimeTime Sports has partnered with VYPE Media to rebrand its 7-on-7 Tournament of Champions, which enters its 14th year.
"The sport of 7-on-7 football is largely high school connected," PrimeTime Sports CEO David Stephens said. "We wanted to partner with VYPE because they are the most credible media voice in the state of Texas scholastic space. It enhances what we are doing with the event tremendously."
The event will be held June 22-23 in College Station, Texas for teams ranging from third grade to high school. There will be more emphasis put on the high school divisions, especially the private school sector.
"In the past, the 7-on-7 space has been dominated by the public school ranks," Stephens said. "We wanted to host a statewide private school event that they haven't had in the past.
