Anna football is ranked in the top 10 of the VYPE DFW 1A-4A Preseason Football Rankings this fall. Looking to push it to the limit this fall and break deeper into the playoffs, fans can expect big things out of this squad.
REWIND
Last season, the Anna Coyotes fought hard from the get-go. With an undefeated preseason and regular season, the team had a no stop attitude with each opponent that they faced. Defeating strong teams like Decatur (54-35), Aubrey (39-34), Celina (28-25), Kaufman (42-21), Community (41-7), and more, the team outscored their opponents by nearly 300 points on the season. Finishing at the top of their district with an undefeated 5-0 district record, they had no trouble entering playoffs.
Once in playoffs, the team toppled Frisco Panther Creek (62-24), Stephenville (33-32), and Celina (27-24) before falling in a 31-14 battle against China Spring.
LOOKING AHEAD
Working hard all off-season, the Coyotes are ready to get things going this fall. Featuring athletes like Edward Chumley, Sean Steens, Jabari Finnie, Brandon Green Jr., Jacob Emmers, Jaydin Pool, Ronald Bell Jr., Jamison Adams, Zhavier Bennett, and more, the team can be expected to bring a fire everywhere they go this season. Determined to push it further than ever, the Anna Coyotes are hopeful for a strong season.
The team opens up their schedule on Friday, August 25th against a tough Decatur squad. Fans aren't going to want to miss any of the action that the Coyotes have to bring this fall!
