The MacArthur Generals will look to make the playoffs for a 14th-straight season in 2020.
The Generals bring back six starters putting them in a prime position to do that. The lineup will be built around District 16-6A Offensive Player of the Year Angela Olivo (.632, 5 HR) and Player of the Year Angel Morales (.627, 6 HR).

Morales is committed to the University of Houston, while Olivo is committed to Galveston College. MacArthur also brings back first-team, all-district selections Alexa Garcia (Laredo College), Wyllo Gayle and Alyssa Castellano (Laredo College).
Other key returners include second-team, all-district picks Enjoli Ortega and Jessica Medina. Erika Scott enters her first season as the head coach at MacArthur – after spending the last four years at Fort Bend Travis – and expects pitching depth, versatility in the field, big offense, senior play and clutch performances to be their keys to success in 2020.
