FRISCO - Just as it had pretty much all season, Denton Ryan completely dominated in another win - 56-10 - this time a 4-5A DI rematch with Colleyville Heritage to advance to the state semifinals.
Emani Bailey was the star of the Ryan show as he tallied 5 total touchdowns and 331 total yards (275 rushing, 58receiving) to lead the Raiders.
Outside of a late first quarter field attempt, Heritage did not offer much of a fight. Denton Ryan scored on three of its four first quarter possessions and never looked back - a total of 11 plays in the quarter.
Ryan reached 50-plus points for the fourth straight game and the 10th time this season.
Denton Ryan will meet Frisco Lone Star in the state semifinals at 2 p.m. Saturday at Allen's Eagle Stadium - a matchup of 14-0 teams and high-flying offenses.
