PHOTO GALLERY: Parish Episcopal Volleyball midseason update
We are halfway through the volleyball season and the Parish Episcopal Lady Panthers volleyball team has been crushing it this season. With an 88% win percentage, Parish currently sits at the No. 3 position in their district according to MaxPreps. Ahead of John Paul II, but just behind Prestonwood (no. 2) and Bishop Lynch (no. 1) volleyball, Parish has posted a 17-2-1 overall record so far this season.
During preseason play, the Lady Panthers took down the likes of Dallas Christian, Fort Worth Country Day, Fort Worth Christian, Hockaday, Faith West Academy, Carrollton Prince of Peace, Arlington Oakridge, and more en route to district play. Their only preseason loss came against district opponent Prestonwood Christian- the only team that has handed the Lady Panthers a district loss as well.
Last week, Parish faced off against John Paul II in front of a home crowd. The Lady Panthers shut down the Lady Cardinals in only three sets. With only eight games left in the regular season, there's no doubt that strong athletes likes Trinidy Huynh, Harper Cooper, Sabrina Merkle, Sarah Pickett, and the rest of the Lady Panthers team will do everything that it takes in order to make a strong playoff appearance and run.
The team will hit the road to face Bishop Lynch on Tuesday, October 5 before a home game against Ursuline Academy. For more photos from the VYPE DFW photoshoot with Parish Episcopal, please visit VYPE Photos.
