With valiant effort and a great season behind them, the St. Mark's wrestling program had quite the year. Resilience, strength, and determination helped guide St. Mark's and the wrestling athletes to the SPC Championships where they showcased their talent on the mat and finished in second!
St. Mark's wrestling took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to post about their finish at the championships:
Lions take 2nd place at the SPC Championships! Q. Perkison (106), W. Taylor (150), & W. Loehr (175) all win their weight classes. Z. Golle (113), B. Bacon (126), & J. Barnes (144) also earn All-SPC for taking 2nd place. A great day for our wrestlers!

The second-place finish comes after last season's success on the mat at state where five Lions qualified for Nationals and a team finish of fifth place:
