Familiar Faces: DFW TXHSFB Alumni headed to SBLVI

With the end of the NFL football season drawing near, fans are anxiously awaiting this year's Super Bowl. Many watched two exciting championship games on Sunday in which the Mahomes magic was put to a stop by the Bengals and the Rams toppled the 49ers. As you prepare for Super Bowl LVI, take a look at the DFW faces that will be suiting up and heading into the stadium!

Cincinnati Bengals LB - Clay Johnston, Abilene Wylie


Johnston graduated from Abilene Wylie in 2015 where he was a basketball and football star. Johnston played college football at Baylor before joining the NFL.

Cincinnati Bengals OL - Hakeem Adeniji, Garland


Adeniji played high school football in Garland where he was a force to be reckoned with on the field. Adeniji graduated in 2016 and went on to play college ball for the University of Kansas before joining the NFL.

Los Angeles Rams DT - Bobby Brown, Arlington Lamar


Brown was a defensive machine for Arlington Lamar during his high school career. After graduating in 2018, Brown played college ball for the Aggies in College Station before joining the NFL in 2020.

Los Angeles Rams OL - Bobby Evans, Allen


Evans played a key role on the Allen squad during his time in high school. After graduating in 2015, Evans played college football for the Sooners before joining the NFL.

Los Angeles Rams OLB - Von Miller, DeSoto


A star for DeSoto throughout his high school career, Miller graduated in 2007. From high school, Miller played for Texas A&M before joining the NFL. Miller helped Denver Broncos win the Super Bowl in 2016 in which he was also named as the Super Bowl MVP.

Los Angeles Rams LB - Justin Hollins, Arlington Martin


Justin Hollins was a strong force for Arlington Martin. After high school, Hollins played football for the Oregon Ducks before joining the NFL.

Los Angeles Rams OT - Joseph Noteboom, Plano


Noteboom made his time at Plano memorable with many accolades and big plays. After high school, Noteboom played for TCU before joining the NFL.

Los Angeles Rams QB - Matthew Stafford, Highland Park


Throwing for nearly 6,000 yards in his high school career, Stafford truly made his mark in a Scots jersey. After high school, Stafford played for the University of Georgia before joining the NFL.
