Lake Creek hasn’t been around for long, but it is starting to make its presence felt in the volleyball world. The softball team just finished a 41-0 perfect season to win a Class 5A State Championship.
Can volleyball follow their lead?
Last year, the Lions registered their first-ever playoff wins and reached the Regional Quarterfinals.
Sam Houston- commit Payton Woods will lead the offensive attack after registering 430 kills (4.1 kills/set) a year ago. Ashlynn Kilgore (138 kills) will also chip in.
Grace Ellis will bring the defense in the middle (71 blocks), while Reese Micklos (378 digs), Masie Riley (355 digs) and Houston Baptist- commit Lauren Vickery will be key factors on the defense.
Lauren Greene will be the quarterback of the offense after registering 1,120 assists a year ago.
