You know what time it is! The Fall season is right around the corner, so we take at the Top 5 schools in the Austin/San Antonio area.
Football is here and that means we take a look at our top teams in the area.
Are we right? Are we wrong? Let us know and new rankings will come out every week.
5A-6A: Westlake is still the top of the class here. Coming in with a new Head Coach and new QB will leave some questions, but both are familiar with Westlake. Tony Salazar has been with Westlake as their defensive coordinator and take over for Todd Dodge and potential starter Paxton Land who filled in when Cade Klubnik missed some time with an injury last season. Meanwhile Lake Travis will look to finally get the better of Westlake after the last few years and Liberty Hill who looks to get back to the State Championship game.

1A-4A: Shiner takes the top spot and will look to go for the 3-peat. One interesting note for them heading into the season....Refugio is now a district opponent for the next 2 years. Falls City will need to reload at QB to get back to the state championship. And Wimberley has high hopes of a big run this year.

Private Schools: Regents had a "down year" last year losing in the semi-finals, but looks to get back to the championship game this year. Marble Falls Faith last 2 seasons have been great for the flames and will look to finish it off this season with a state championship.
