On Friday, the Cypress Creek Lady Cougars beat the Summer Creek Lady Bulldogs (65-37), which advanced them to the 5th round where they took on the Clear Springs Lady Chargers. The Lady Cougars will be going to State after a win against Clear Springs, 60-40, and bringing their record to 40-0.
Leading the way for the Lady Cougars was K. Hunter (#22) w/ 22 points, M. Hill (#5) w/ 15 points, and R. Harmon (#3) w/ 11 points.
Leading the way for the Lady Chargers was E. McIntosh (#20) w/ 16 points, K. Gibson (#13) w/ 13 points, and N. Johnson (#21) w/ 7 points.
