Each year, the youth bowling leagues across Houston collectively come together as a whole at the Youth City Tournament.
While not what most would consider your "typical sport," when involved with youth bowling, you are constantly learning and exercising your physical skills while also gaining teamwork.
This sport is far more unique and different than the usual sports played. Many in this sport feel that being a part of this community is like no other. And while some sports may hold tryouts, the beauty of this sport is that most who join don't even start out having much bowling experience at all.
If you are passionate about it and are willing to learn you can succeed. As a bowler, you are challenged and pushed out of your comfort zone. The youth bowlers presented in the photos below are some of the best.
In addition to the skills, you can also earn scholarships to put towards your education. This organization also allows you to make friends and be a part of a team.
