The 2019-2020 school year is about to start, so VYPE Austin will release its first area volleyball preview in the coming days and weeks. Preseason rankings and breakdowns take a look at area teams, while the preseason all-VYPE team and photo feature highlight notable athletes.

This summer, VYPE Austin hosted its first preseason volleyball photoshoot at Austin St. Andrew's Episcopal School. Four of the invited athletes were given the opportunity to appear in VYPE's "first serve" photo. It included Austin Vandegrift senior and Oregon commit Annie Stadthaus, Dripping Springs senior and Tulsa commit Avery Kalsu, Leander Rouse senior and TCU commit Grayson Schirpik, and Georgetown senior and Arizona commit Emery Herman.
