West coach Bryan Pratt stressed the need for his team to be able to play a full four-quarter game, especially with the number of players that the Wolverines are playing on both sides of the football.
West (0-1) had the lead as it entered the final 12 minutes of play Friday, but Owasso rallied with 22 points and took a 47-34 decision at Wolverine Stadium.
"It was a game that we gave away in the fourth quarter," Pratt said. "It's something we have to work on. I've told you and told everybody I've done interviews with that these first three games are important for our coaching staff to figure out how to play these two-way players.
