There was no shortage of Central Louisiana talent on the Louisiana Softball Coaches Association's All-State teams for classes 1A and 2A.
Both All-State lists featured a combined 18 players from Cenla with eight on the Class 1A team and 10 on the 2A squad.
Class 1A runner-up LaSalle placed three on the 1A teams as infielders Kinsey Long, AnnaBeth Pitman and Sidni Laird nearly made up half of the seven player positions. St. Mary's followed suit with three players as junior pitcher Meredith Matt, junior infielder Ragan Hale and junior utility player Chloe Longlois were also honored.
