Kyndon Fuselier was the #1 wide receiver in District 12-5A last season as the sophomore hauled in 47 receptions and gained 834 yards.
VYPE caught up with Fuselier during this quarantine period to see what his plans are for 2020 and what's new with the Bulldogs.
VYPE: During this time of quarantine what are you doing as an athlete to stay in shape and keep engaged with your coaches and teammates?
Fuselier: I lift weights and run in my neighborhood daily and also call my coaches from time to time.
VYPE: Explain a typical day in your life with the "stay-at-home" order and how are you engaging with your school work and personal life?
Fuselier: I keep engaged with my schoolwork online before I workout in the mornings.
VYPE: You're heading into your junior season with the Bulldogs, what are your individual goals as you are coming off an all-district season from 2019?
Fuselier: My goal is to be the best leader I can for my teammates, being someone my team can count on in any situation.
VYPE: The Bulldogs had a playoff season in 2019, give us a sense on what Nederland Football will like like this fall.
Fuselier: We are young but, will be working hard and dedicating ourselves to be a discipline football team this fall.
VYPE: What is your 2-5 year plan of being an athlete? Are you looking to play at the next level? You still have 2 years left of varsity football.
Fuselier: I am looking to compete against the best at the next level.
VYPE: What do you want your legacy to be at Nederland once you leave in 2 years?
Fuselier: I want to be remembered as a player who did everything he could to be the best on and off the field.
