Bailey Buck did a little bit of everything for the District 4-5A champion Wylie Lady Bulldogs, who reached the Region I-5A semifinals.
Buck hit .525 with 45 RBIs, while she also split time on the mound with Kaylee Philipp. Buck had a 4.38 earned-run average. She struck out 85 and walked 47 in 111.2 innings.
"I think Bailey is just a humble, great teammate," Wylie coach Heather Collier said. "I don't think she knows how talented she is. She just goes out there and plays. She fills whatever role we need her to."

VYPE would like to congratulate Coach Mike Fullen on becoming the new general of the Abilene Eagles.

Abilene High never was just a stop along the way for Mike Fullen. It was the destination.
Fullen was hired as an assistant football coach in 1997 by Steve Warren and rose to associate head coach in 2014 under Del Van Cox. He also served as defensive coordinator.
On Monday, Fullen was named the next head football coach and athletic director for the Eagles.
