2023-24 Fort Bend Austin Girls Basketball
THE DOGHOUSE: No. 8 Fort Bend Austin has plenty of firepower
The Bulldogs posted a 29-4 mark last season and reached the playoffs after finishing second in district play.
Fort Bend Austin does bring some firepower back including junior Andrea Sturdivant, who led the team with 15.5 points per game. She also turned in 3.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 4.3 steals per game -- an all-around player.
She will be joined by Shun’teria Anumele (St. Louis-commit) who has moved in and is a star in her own right.
Aminah Dixon, averaged 12.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and four assists per game a year ago. Also watch out for Mannal Yusuf, who enters her senior year, after scoring six points per game last season.
Don’t sleep on Crystal Schultz as another talented scorer.
