BIG LEAGUE TALENT: Marsh has been the face of young Jordan program
THE GREATER HOUSTON-AREA HAS SEEN ITS FAIR SHARE OF STAR HIGH SCHOOL WIDE RECEIVERS OVER THE YEARS, FROM THE LIKES OF CEEDEE LAMB (COWBOYS) AND JAYLEN WADDLE (DOLPHINS), TO NOW COLLEGE STARS NICK ANDERSON (OKLAHOMA) AND MATTHEW GOLDEN (TEXAS LONGHORNS).
Over the past two years, anew name has emerged as a future star in Katy Jordan’s Andrew Marsh.
The 4-Star wide receiver has been one of the top wideout prospects in the country since his freshman year, but the journey hasn’t always been easy.
Marsh’s football journey started in LL with his Dad as his coach, who lost his battle with cancer early on. Marsh had to grow up fast, but had is motivation always by his side... his Mom.

“She’s been the person I look up to the most in my life,” Marsh said. “She inspires me every day with the way she works hard and takes care of me and my siblings. I am lucky to have a mom who supports me going after my dreams and I am so thankful for that.”
Though many see Marsh as this superstar athlete, he just likes to see himself as just kid.
“I like to say I’m a normal guy with big goals,” he said with a laugh. “I like to listen to music, I like to drive around and travel. When people look at me, I want them to see somebody who is going to work hard in all aspects in my life to be the best.”
As he enters his senior year, Marsh is excited to finish out his final journey with the Warriors football team and hopefully make some more history.

“The whole journey has been amazing,” Marsh said. “I’ve been on varsity since freshman year and got to lead the team to our first playoff berth in school history. I’ve been playing with my guys since Little League, so we’re ready to make more history this year.
"As for me, I don’t know what’s in store for my senior year. I know it’s going to be crazy... stay tuned.”
