Flower Mound Jaguars (2-0)
Flower Mound is riding high after a tough season last year. Starting this season off on a better foot, the Jaguars are 2-0 entering week three. Remaining victorious in a hard-fought week one battle against Keller Fossil Ridge (38-31) before posting a convincing victory over Lake Highlands (41-21), Flower Mound is bound and determined to keep their hot streak going.
Athletes like Nicolas Rosso, Marcus Simpson, Jason Welch, Alex Winkle, Elliot Trawick, Ryan Murray, and others make up this Jaguars' roster. With an offensive line that allows blocking for big plays and a defense that doesn't go quietly through challenging moments, the Jaguars' fans can look for big moments from these athletes.
McKinney High Lions (2-0)
With a decent overall record and a short playoff run last season, the McKinney Lions are back on the field and ready to go. This season, the team has seen challenging moments, but continued to battle and fight for well-deserved victories. In week one, McKinney battled for a 23-21 victory over Longview; in week two, the Lions secured a 35-14 victory over Richardson Berkner. With a fire in their heart and a focus on continuing their excellence, the team will do whatever it takes to shut down Flower Mound.
Makhi Frazier, Xavier Filsaime, Bryan Jackson, Deondre Shepherd, Zadian Gentry, Sincere Blakely, Jonathan Agumadu, Jace Johnson, Josiah Brown, and more have built up the stamina it takes to outlast their opponents. With the hunger to secure a strong record as they inch toward district play, fans can expect the Lions to fend off their opponents.

Both looking to keep an undefeated record going, fans can expect both sides of the ball to put their hearts into every moment on the field on Friday night. Both of these teams have a strong defense that puts up timely plays while the offenses can be expected to play fast looking to score early and often.
