Bohyun Park wins her third UIL State Title, sets sights on US Open
Carrollton Ranchivew senior Bohyun Park snagged her third state title on Tuesday at the UIL Class Class 4A State Golf Tournament.
Park started the tournament strong as she hit for 67 strokes on Monday, far ahead of the rest of her competition. With a 32 stroke finish in day two, she won an individual title with 99 strokes (11 more strokes than second-place Mallory Matthews of Hondo golf).
Initially, Park scored 65 in day two of the tournament before inclement weather halted the competition. UIL officials ruled that only had of the strokes would be counted since several teams were prevented from completing their final round.
Next up on Park's sights is the US Open. The senior has only a few weeks left to prepare with the US Open beginning on June 3rd.
Bo's last drive for Ranchview High. Her next meaningful shot will be at THE U. S. Open in June. Of course it was right down the middle. #PTR @CFBISD @DrChapmanCFBISD @CFBathletics @RanchviewIB @clair_coach pic.twitter.com/2QkRvVN3F2
