The stars of 2023-24 Cinco Ranch Baseball
BASES LOADED: No. 6 Cinco Ranch will be a force to be reckoned with
No. 6 -- Cinco Ranch Cougars
2023: 33-7 (District 19-6A Co-Champions/Regional Semifinalist)
Cinco Ranch was a welcome surprise in 2023, bursting onto the scene to emerge as co-district champs (14-2) alongside Tompkins, after missing out on the playoffs a year prior.
From there, the Cougars would advance four rounds deep into the postseason, which would earn coach Brett Wallace the District 19-6A Coach of the Year award.
Wallace has the benefit of bringing back the majority of that same roster, namely first-teamers Brock DeYoung (Texas State-commit) and Lucas Franco (TCU), as well as second-teamers Brayden Hodge (East Texas Baptist) and Thomas Guy.
Despite competing in a loaded district, count on Cinco being in the Regional Final conversation.

VYPE 2021 Baseball Preview: Public School #18 Cinco Ranch
Cinco Ranch was rolling in 2020 when COVID-19 hit. The Cougars were 13-1 in the early season. Disappointing, yes, but the Cougars could make some noise in District 19-6A this year.
Cinco Ranch is blessed with pitching that includes Blake Hansen, Aidan Carnahan, Zach Royse, and Jacob Wiggins, who are able to take the ball from coach Brett Wallace at any time. Hansen is also a stud at the plate along with Tyler Duron. Ivan Marquez will lock up the infield with Wiggins when he's not pitching.
The Ranch has never been past the second round of the postseason, so let's see if the Cougars can build a new culture starting in 2021.
