VYPE Coaches Corner: Concordia Lutheran Volleyball Coach Kim Odinga; 2024 Game-Plan
With the Fall season here, it has officially become our busiest time of the year, given the bevy of campus-coordinated media days on our schedule.
Recently, our team traveled to Concordia Lutheran High School for their 2024 Fall Media Day.
We spoke with CLHS Head Coach Kim Odinga, discussing the Crusaders' difficult first-half of to the season, and what's in store for the remainder of their district schedule.
Check out the interview below!
BASES LOADED: No. 2 Concordia Lutheran seeking a return to State
No. 2 -- Concordia Lutheran Crusaders
2023: 33-3 (TAPPS-I State Semifinalist)
Over the past decade, the Crusaders have consistently been in the conversation as one of the most premier private school teams in the state.
Eight seasons of at least reaching the state final-four since 2015 speaks for itself. That trend should undoubtedly continue this Spring, as Concordia Lutheran seeks to acquire the program’s second championship.
Third-year coach Royce Kennedy will look to his key returners – namely Eoghan Collins (St. Edward’s-commit), Nolan Traeger (TCU), Cole Lanclos (Baylor), Ronin McCraw (Texas A&M), and Connor Jones, among others – to make that annual goal a reality.
This might just be their year.
