Dallas Jesuit Rangers (1-1)
The Rangers posted a 9-3 overall record last season (7-1 in district play) with a quick playoff appearance. Entering this season after a successful offseason for the Rangers, the team lost their season-opener to Hebron (39-34) before posting a hard-fought 60-59 victory over Rockwall last week in their home opener.
This team has the ability to come out of the tunnel ready to go. Roaring with talent and geared up for success at every moment, the Rangers have a solid offense that knows how to score often. Jesuit will look to utilize this against J.J. Pearce on Thursday night.
Richardson J.J. Pearce Mustangs (2-0)
Richardson J.J. Pearce is headed into week three with an undefeated record so far. Having pulled off a close 35-32 victory over Wylie in week one followed by a convincing 55-37 victory over the Weatherford Kangaroos in week 2, this squad is ready to bring the action against their opponents in week three.
Keeping an eye on Noah Self, Presley Harper, Luke Casagrande, Jewlyen Thomas-Roberts, Quinn Fleming, fans can expect this squad to be ready for just about anything on Thursday night against Dallas Jesuit.
What To Expect
In a revenge match from last season in which Jesuit defeated Pearce by a score of 40-13, anything can be expected this season. Pearce has an explosive offense that will be looking to set the tone earlier. Jesuit has an offense that has impeccable game IQ and is ready to showcase their talent in district play. Fans can expect a game full of smart offense and big defensive timing.
