Universal City First Baptist Academy Eagles (Reached 2018 TAPPS 1A area round)
Universal City First Baptist Academy is coming off a TAPPS 1A area round playoff appearance, and has the necessary returning talent to top that finish in 2019. The Eagles will lean on junior Madison Johnson, who earned a 2018 second-team all-district honor like sophomore Sarah Marques. Maggie Herzog is another notable because she's also back for her junior year, and received a district honorable mention nod like sophomores Colleen Gearty, Kyleigh Lingua and Macie Whitson.
Hallettsville Sacred Heart Catholic School Indians (Reached 2018 TAPPS 3A bi-district round)
Hallettsville Sacred Heart Catholic School was one-and-done in last year's TAPPS 3A postseason, but is expected to go further in 2019. That's because the Indians have a notable senior trio. Ella Harper earned an all-state honorable mention honor in 2018, while Karlye Bujnoch and Carley Haas received first and second team district selections respectively.
Lutheran High School of San Antonio Mustangs (Reached 2018 TAPPS 4A bi-district round)
Lutheran High School of San Antonio is coming off a TAPPS 4A bi-district playoff appearance, and has the solid young unit to carry it through the 2021 season. That's because the Mustangs' roster features a trio of all-district talents that are back for their junior and sophomore seasons. First-teamer Maya Sanders and second-teamer Aynsley Larsen are 2022 prospects, while honorable mention Kamryn Boriack is a Class of 2021 member.
San Antonio Providence Catholic School Provets (Missed 2018 TAPPS 5A playoffs)
San Antonio Providence Catholic School missed the 2018 TAPPS 5A playoffs, but is expected to bounce back in 2019. That's because the Provets have a quartet of senior all-district talents. It starts with first-teamers Isabella Gomez and Madalyn Gonzalez, and continues with second-teamer Guinevere Kalinowski and honorable mention Abigail Driskill.
San Antonio Gateway Christian School Eagles (Missed 2018 TAPPS 1A playoffs)
San Antonio Gateway Christian School didn't make the TAPPS 1A playoffs last season, but is expected to be challenger in 2019. That's because the Eagles have a quartet of all-district talents.
