As district play continues to roll, the Forney Jackrabbits have been showcasing their effort on the field as they have taken on powerful opponents. VYPE DFW takes a look at the team so far and what fans can continue to expect:
Non-District Play

Defeating plenty of teams that were sure to help them focus on the schedule ahead, Forney is led by athletes like Eli Benavides, Caleb Chrest, Dylan Clark, Lucas Ramsey, and more. Utilizing non-district play to prep for big-time district opponents, the Jackrabbits were ready to take on some of the best in the area with no fear and no doubt.
District Play So Far
In district play so far, the team has banded together to post incredible victories over some of their rivals. Defeating Terrell (6-1, 13-2), Crandall (3-2, 10-0), and Red Oak (5-4), Forney has been able to take challenges and use them as opportunities to grow. With a 5-1 record so far in district play, the team sits in the second-place spot of their district standings. Looking to continue a reign of dominance over their area opponents, the team is looking for a strong run through the rest of their district play.
What's Ahead

With a tough rest of their schedule, fans can expect Forney to pick up the gear as they prepare to face Ennis, McKinney Boyd, Corsicana, Lancaster, and others. Ready to finish their season strong, the Jackrabbits will pull out all the stops with a fast-paced style of offense that knows how to round the bases while the defense continues to shut down opponent after opponent.
