By LaMar Gafford
The postseason awards continue to flow in for Tioga's baseball team.
The Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association announced their All-State teams recently and it was nearly a clean sweep for the top awards in Class 4A for the Indians as junior Issac Williams was named as the Hitter of the Year, sophomore Blake McGehee earned Pitcher of the Year and coach Dave Montiel picking up a share of Coach of the Year with Parkview Baptist's Emrick Jagneaux.
After last year's first round loss to Westgate and an 0-5 start to the 2019 season, Montiel guided the Tribe to 31 straight wins for their first title since 1987.
