THE RANKINGS: No. 12 - Oak Ridge War Eagles
The War Eagles reached the Regional Quarterfinals a year ago going 31-6 overall.
Sixteenth-year coach Stephani Rougeau (138-49 at Oak Ridge; 432 wins overall) returns five starters off that team including reigning District 13-6A MVP and Kansas-commit Ella Boyer (.529, 12 HR, 35 RBI) and Offensive Player of the Year Adrienne Thompson (.537, 4 HRs, 17 RBIs).
Other key returners include Ava Bennett (.340, 14 RBIs), Hailei Harrell (Grambling State-commit), Cameron Mendoza and Macy Browning.
Oak Ridge will seek a 14th-straight playoff appearance as Rougeau wants her team to play by the motto “We Get To” in 2025.
