Port Arthur Memorial looks the part in 2020
When Port Arthur Memorial gets off the bus, opponents take notice.
The Titans look the part under the direction of Brian Morgan. With 15 starters back off of a playoff team, PAM should be a district title contender.
QB Jah'mar Sanders is a "Lamar Jackson"-type as described by his teammates and has a pair of talented RBs in the backfield in Adrian Hayward and Branden Chaney.
Jordon and Christian Thomas are big-league DEs, who will anchor the defense. Jordon Thomas is committed to Texas. The secondary is also loaded with Jaylon Guilbeau and Devaunn Davenport, both juniors. Others to take note of include defensive lineman Donaven Jackson and offensive lineman Tre'vonte Caines.

VYPE 411: Port Arthur Memorial's Kenneth Lofton Jr
Kenneth Lofton Jr. recently won the SETX Boys Public School Basketball Player of the Year fan poll. VYPE caught up with Lofton for the 411 on the star from Port Arthur Memorial.
VYPE: How long have you been playing basketball and how did you get your start?
Lofton: I started when I was 5 years old when I was the manger on my brother's AAU team.
VYPE: What is your favorite thing about basketball?
Lofton: My favorite thing about basketball is traveling with the team.
VYPE: Go-to pregame meal? Routine?
Lofton: My pre-game favorite meal is Chick-fil-A. My routine is to get shots up before the game starts.
VYPE: Favorite subject in school?
Lofton: My favorite subject in school is math.
VYPE: Who's the toughest player you've ever faced on the court?
Lofton: The toughest player I ever faced was Cade Cunningham.
VYPE: Off the court, what is your favorite thing to do?
Lofton: Besides playing basketball I love to play video games.
VYPE: In all of your years playing basketball, what is the one memory from the game you'll never forget?
Lofton: I had hit a full court shot at the buzzer
