Dominate the Hardwood: Prosper Eagles Basketball
Prosper has been dominating the court this season as they powered through non-district play. The team has already opened district play and intends to continue to take down anyone who stands between them and the playoffs. VYPE DFW dives a little further into the squad so far this season:
Non-District Play
Dropping four games in non-district play, the team secured several other victories. Led by the likes of JP Breshears, Aiden Sanchez, Davion Carr, Antone Stewart IV, Chase Dixon, Lucas Callier, and others, the Eagles soared over Frisco Liberty (68-51), Red Oak (63-56), Panther Creek (73-64), Plano (68-65), Lakeview Centennial (65-61), and others. Prepared for district play, the team has had no trouble setting the tone and establishing excellent footing on the court.
District Play So Far
So far in district play, the team has defeated Little Elm (77-65). With the holiday break, there are a handful of tournament games the team will participate in, but they don't resume district play until after the new year when they're set to take on Prosper Rock Hill, Denton Braswell, Allen, McKinney, Denton Guyer, and more. Fans can expect the Eagles to continue showcasing their dominant spirit on the court as they work toward the playoffs. Be sure to check out this team on the court this season!
Through the Motions: Prosper Girls Basketball
The Prosper Lady Eagles are fighting on the court this season as they take on their opponents. This team has something special for them going already and fans aren't going to want to miss the rest of the year. VYPE DFW dives into their team as they jump further into district play:
Non-District Play
The Lady Eagles powered their way through non-district play by posting a 13-3 record. The team secured incredible victories over Frisco Centennial (85-21), Wylie East (56-37), Keller (63-38), Bishop Lynch (77-70), Frisco Lone Star (73-48), Denison (79-37), and others, Prosper used non-district play to sharpen their skills and prepare for the rest of their season.
District So Far
Led by Kendall Mosley, Kera Bruce, Kyla Smith, Loretta Sofi, Shae Arrington, Kamryn Phoenix, Olivia Pennington, and other talented athletes, the team has started off district on the right foot. Opening the district schedule with powerful victories over Denton Guyer (a 65-64 thriller in overtime play) and McKinney Boyd (71-42), the Eagles continue to battle through challenging moments. With determination and resiliency, the team is looking at facing Denton Braswell, Allen, and other strong teams following the start of the new year.
