It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to reach a milestone like 1,000 career points. What would you say has been the secret to your success on the court?
"The secret to my success on the court is the countless hours I've spent working on my game. When I repeatedly practiced certain things I wanted to improve, I found confidence in it and eventually started to see it translating into the game."
So far, what has been your favorite memory playing for Prosper?
"For the three years I've played at Prosper, I've had the chance to create many memories, but one of the most exciting for me was the McKinney game where I hit my 1,000 career points. It's not because I achieved my goal, but because of my teammates' reactions when I did so. The joy I felt in the moment due to their excitement and encouragement made it ten times more special."
As you continue to put in effort this season, having already surpassed 1,000 career points, what are some other personal goals you're aiming for?
"My other personal goals are getting a triple-double, consistently performing through all games, and receiving an honorable award in the district."
What are some goals you have for the team this season?
"The ultimate goal for everyone is to make the playoffs and go on a run. Last season we did not get the chance to do that, so we want to get that opportunity and position ourselves in the best way possible with a few more wins."
What are you looking for in a college program?
"A place that feels like home. I want to go somewhere where the culture is respected and very important, where the team is close-knit, and where I could call them family one day. I also want a program that values their academic success and develops their players as people and athletes."
What, in your opinion, has been your greatest accomplishment at Prosper?
"My greatest accomplishment at Prosper has been making varsity as a freshman or hitting 1,000 career points."
Who do you look up to and why?
"I look up to my older sister, Peyton. She plays collegiate basketball at Hutchinson CC this year. Ever since we were little, we always competed against each other in everything we did. When I was a freshman and she was a senior here at Prosper, we got to play together. Being able to see the leadership my sister brought that year taught me a lot of things. Watching her grow with her basketball career and seeing her be successful is something I've always admired and looked up to."
Do you have any pregame routines that you use to get in the zone?
"I listen to music pregame and then go out and ball."
An impressive athlete and well-rounded individual, Mosley is determined to help her team continue succeeding with more victories through the rest of this season. Be sure you catch her in action on the court as the team continues their regular season schedule.

STATE SEMIFINALS PREVIEW: Battle-tested Prosper to face Conroe Grand Oaks
Prosper returns to the state tournament after winning the whole thing in 2017 and not making it to this stage since. Ready to show that they are back, victorious as ever, and ready to seal the deal on another successful season, the Lady Eagles have fought valiantly through their season. VYPE DFW takes a look at their road to state and what fans can expect on Friday heading into the semifinal pairing with Conroe Grand Oaks:
Regular Season Play
Led by Ayden Ames, Reese Renfrow, Sydney Thornton, Jayla Jackson, Audrey Hunt, Keely Harrington, Sophie Bridges, Allie Duitsman, Hannah Beauford, and other talented athletes, Prosper has been posting dominant victories from the start of their season when they opened with a 3-0 sweep over Frisco Independence. Posting other non-district victories over tough programs like Arlington Martin (3-0), Grapevine (3-0), Frisco Wakeland (3-1), Weatherford (2-0), Rockwall (2-1), Lucas Lovejoy (2-1-- who is playing in their own state semifinal on Friday), Flower Bluff (2-0), Allen (2-0), and more, the Lady Eagles were able to face and overcome challenges before district play even began.
Posting a 12-2 district record to finish second in their district standings-- just behind a strong McKinney Boyd Lady Broncos team-- Prosper's only two district losses came in matches against the Lady Broncos. Focusing on resiliency and power, Prosper defeated Denton Guyer, Prosper Rock Hill, Denton Braswell, McKinney, and more throughout the rest of their district play.
Playoffs So Far
Amping up their play for the playoffs, Prosper regrouped and was prepared for anything to come their way as they entered the first round against Plano West. Posting a 3-0 victory, the team moved on to an intense battle against Arlington Martin. Dedicated, focused, and determined, the Lady Eagles secured a 3-2 victory over Arlington Martin and continued to advance. Defeating Plano East (3-0), Southlake Carroll (3-0), and Flower Mound (3-0), Prosper punched their ticket to the biggest stage in Texas high school volleyball: the state tournament!
What To Expect
Conroe Grand Oaks (48-1, 16-0) has lost only one game this season while outscoring their opponents 121-7. In fact, out of 48 victories this season, 43 of them were won in sweeps. Fans can expect a fast-paced game. Grand Oaks is going to put up the toughest battle that Prosper has seen all season. Jam-packed with action, fans aren't going to want to take their eyes off of this UIL Class 6A State Semifinal match! The game is set to begin at 5 p.m. at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.
