TOP 25: VYPE Girl's Basketball Player Rankings
Houston is full of girls' basketball talent. That's the fact.
In espnW's Top 100 2020 recruits list, Houston takes home four of the Top 100 slots, led by Westside's Fatou Samb and Summer Creek's Maliyah Johnson.
VYPE scoured through lists and came up with the Top 25 players in the city from freshmen to seniors.

It's time to hoop it up in H-Town!
The 2019-2020 hoops season is upon us and the contenders are clear, while there are teams that could surprise this season. On the girls' side, the field is loaded.
Cy Creek, Summer Creek, Atascocita, Westside and Fort Bend Hightower should all contend for a spot in San Antonio. On the girls' side, Fatou Samb (Cal-Berkley), Maliyah Johnson (Texas A&M), Taelor Purvis (Houston) and Elyssa Coleman (Texas) will all be stars to watch this year.
For the boys, Jack Yates looks absolutely loaded this season at the 4A level. At the Class 6A mark, Morton Ranch, led by TCU-commit Eddie Lampkin and Baylor-commit LJ Cryer look the part to lead this group to a state tournament berth.
