TAPPS WRAP: Village School wins crown; Rosehill Christian, Westbury Christian finish as runner-ups
It was a busy weekend in West, Texas as TAPPS put a bow on their 2019-2020 boys and girls basketball seasons.
We will start with the girls and with that The Village School.
This team started as VYPE's preseason No. 1 team and for good reason. They were loaded. The Vikings didn't disappoint this year finishing 37-3 and winning the TAPPS 6A State Championship over Prestonwood Christian.
The Vikings raced out to a 22-12 lead before extending it to 39-20 at the half. The Village School outscored them in every quarter the rest of the way to win big, claiming the 75-48 victory and the title.

In the third quarter, Southwest Christian was able to balloon that lead nearly to 30. But the Second Baptist School fought back, cutting the lead down to 11 with 2:51 remaining.
