Andrew Reid, George Ranch, Baseball
Andrew Reid is a 6-foot righty who was on the cusp of a break-out season for the Longhorns. While the season was cut short, Reid's career will go on as he signed with New York University to play ball. He was also named a National Hispanic Scholar.
CeeDee Lamb, Foster, Football
The superstar receiver from Foster was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys with the 17th overall pick in the NFL Draft last weekend. CeeDee Lamb put Foster on the map a few years back as coach Shawn McDowell's program turned the corner. Lamb starred at Oklahoma where he torched the Big 12.
Kiah Johnson, Lamar Consolidated, Football
There is a new sheriff in town as Kiah Johnson takes over as the head coach at Lamar Consolidated. He was the head track coach, special teams' coordinator and linebackers coach. He played his college ball at Texas A&M-Kingsville and then for the Chicago Bears.
Bryan Rivas, Terry, Soccer
The BF Terry soccer team won District 24-5A in a shortened season. They were led by Bryan Rivas, who was the District Offensive MVP. Rivas was an explosive scorer over his career for the Rangers.
Truman Bexley, Fulshear, Football
Truman Bexley anchored the back-end of the Fulshear defense. His solid play garnered him an offer to Sam Houston, where he signed on National Signing Day. He showed off his wheels on the Charger track team as well.
