Hi! I'm Madison Morris, a senior at Lamar Consolidated High School and a VYPE U Ambassador. Aside from VYPE, I am a member of Student Council, Band, National Honor Society, and the Technology Student Association. My hobbies include photography, music, and journaling. I intend to pursue a career in digital media as a director of content or sports marketing. I am most excited about learning first hand what tasks my future career field consists of. I hope to gain more knowledge about generating engagement while also improving my writing and photography in the process. I am most looking forward to covering basketball and baseball this school year!

VYPE U Behind the Lens: Lamar Consolidated Boys Soccer Dominates FB Hightower
Tuesday night, Lamar Consolidated boys soccer hosted Hightower at Traylor Stadium.
Hightower finally got on the board with a goal from #16 Edson Barajas 6 minutes into the second half. This would be their only goal of the game, and Lamar Consolidated went on to win 4-1. Lamar Consolidated now stands at 7-5 while Hightower stands at 4-7.
Tonight, Lamar Consolidated will travel to Pearland to take on Shadow Creek, while FB Hightower will host Foster in Missouri City.

VYPE U Behind the Lens: Angleton Stuns Lamar Consolidated With Late Comeback
Lamar Consolidated boys basketball hosted Angleton Tuesday night.
The Mustangs led the Wildcats throughout the first half, but Angleton came back late in the second half. Lamar Consolidated was up by 3 with a few seconds to go, but Angleton Wildcat PG Garrett Patton scored a game-tying buzzer beater to send the game into overtime. Angleton won in overtime with a final score of 72-68, stunning Lamar Consolidated in their last home game of the season.
Lamar Consolidated will travel to their cross-town rival school, Terry (Rosenberg, Texas) February 14th in their last game of the 2019-2020 basketball season. Angleton will face Foster High School (Richmond,Texas) February 14th at home.
