My name is Amelia McAnear! I'm in the Theatre Class of 2022 at Booker T. Washington HSPVA, an arts school without sports! However, after photographing the Hillcrest Varsity Baseball Team from the dugout during their 2020-21 season, I fell in love with sports photography and graphic design. I'm not sure yet if it's what I want to do in life, so I'm super excited to get a taste of the sports journalism world! Other than photography and graphic design, I love musical theatre, film & painting.

The Hillcrest Panthers posted a strong 24-14 win over Seagoville last week to improve their overall record to 4-2 (2-2 in district play). Hillcrest took a second-quarter 10-0 lead and never looked back through the rest of the game.

No. 2 Parish Episcopal faced off against No. 1 Prestonwood Christian Academy on Friday where the Panthers pulled out all the stops in order to prove to everyone that they are once again the real deal.
