Noah Taylor recently won the DFW Boys Private School Basketball Player of the Year fan poll. VYPE caught up with Taylor for the 411 on the star from Flower Mound Coram Deo Academy.
VYPE: How long have you been playing basketball and how did you get your start?
Taylor: I have been playing basketball since as long as I can remember. Having two older brothers that played helped make that possible.
VYPE: What is your favorite thing about basketball?
Taylor: My favorite thing about basketball is the camaraderie on the team and the ability to see results by working hard.
VYPE: Go-to pregame meal? Routine?
Taylor: My go to pre game meal@is a PB&J sandwich. My routine is listening to worship music and taking a nap on the way to the game.
VYPE: Favorite subject in school?
Taylor: My favorite subject in school is history.
VYPE: Who's the toughest player you've ever faced on the court?
Taylor: Probably the toughest player who I consistently go against is my coach. He's a lights out shooter and we have some pretty intense competitions.
VYPE: Off the court, what is your favorite thing to do?
Taylor: My favorite thing to do off the court is hangout with my family and friends, play music and boat on the lake.
VYPE: In all of your years playing basketball, what is the one memory from the game you'll never forget?
Taylor: The one memory I will never forget is beating the reigning state champs, Grace Prep, last season to get to the State Tournament.
