15 -- SUMMER CREEK BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs went through somewhat of a slump a year ago, as they finished just outside of the playoff picture, marking the first time since 2018 that they were denied entry.
However, it’s improbable that Summer Creek meets a similar fate this campaign with former Weiss head coach Daniel Moore taking the reins of the program.
He’ll lean on the veteran leadership of Demorae Pritchett and Chazz Duboisto propel SCHS to the playoffs. Pritchett is a 6-foot-5 guard who earned second-team, all-district honors last winter,while senior forward Dubois received an honorable mention.
In the midst of a culture-change and an altered district in the realignment, expect Summer Creek to remind audiences what they’re capable of.
