One of the hottest names in Texas high school coaching cirles over the past month has been Eli Reinhart.
Having run a super-charged offense for Class 6A DI State Champ North Crowley, Reinhart was hired as the new head coach at Hutto High School. Hippo head coach Will Compton slid into the athletic director position and his first order of business was to hire his successsor.
What a great choice.
Reinhart is the son of a head coach, has coached in DI college football and has a newly-minted State gold medal around his neck.
The 32-year-old sat down with VYPE's Matt Malatesta to talk about his first head coaching opportunity and what culture he will bring to the land of the Hippos.
