Lake Belton softball is re-writing the history books, as they are in the process of an unprecedented postseason run, having reached the UIL-5A State Tournament for the first time in program history.
They accomplished this feat by sweeping perennial Region III powers, in Barbers Hill and Lake Creek, over the course of the past two weeks.
Now, the Broncos (41-4) prepare to take on Melissa in the State Semis, starting on Friday (10:00 am) at Red & Charline McCombs in Austin, with a trip to the Final on the line.
